Today, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas testified before the House Judiciary Committee for the first time.
"As a Member of the House Judiciary Committee, I questioned Secretary Mayorkas on the Biden Administration’s dangerous policy failures. Border security is national security, and right now, we have neither. The actions of this Administration and Secretary Mayorkas do not convince me they are serious about securing the border," said Rep. Fischbach. "In addition to my own questions, I reached out to the people of Minnesota's 7th District to see what they want to know from the Secretary. While the Secretary was unable to answer the hundreds of questions in my allotted five minutes, I have sent the questions on to his office and look forward to his responses."
