Washington, D.C. - Yesterday, the House passed H.R. 6126, the Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024, offsetting $14.3 billion from a proposed IRS expansion to provide critical support to our allies in Israel.

"This emergency supplemental package is critical to supporting Israel as they defend themselves against terrorism. It would reinforce the Iron Dome defense systems, replenish Israel's domestic defense stockpiles, and protect U.S. citizens," said Rep. Fischbach (MN-07). "Furthermore, the bill respects taxpayer dollars, as it is offset by rescinding funding for the IRS that would increase their ability to audit working class families. I commend my colleagues for putting forward thoughtful legislation. I urge the Senate and the President to work quickly to pass this bill into law and support our allies."
