Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Fischbach joined Majority Whip Tom Emmer, Congressman Pete Stauber, and Congressman Brad Finstad, in announcing that they have formed a Nominations Committee to help recommend candidates to President Trump for U.S. Attorney, U.S. Marshal, and other vacancies that may arise in Minnesota.
“Our committee’s members are some of Minnesota’s sharpest legal minds with a wealth of experience and expertise. We are confident in their ability to select individuals who will uphold the rule of law and who share our judicial philosophy. We are eager to review the committee’s work and to provide President Trump with the best and brightest public servants,” the lawmakers said.
The Committee will be Chaired by the Honorable G. Barry Anderson, former Minnesota Supreme Court Justice.

- John Hinderaker, President of the Center of the American Experiment
- Allie Howell, Trial and Appellate Counsel at the Upper Midwest Law Center
- Tad Jude, former Judge in Minnesota’s Tenth Judicial District
- Ilan Wurman, Julius E. Davis Professor of Law at the University of Minnesota Law School
