Washington, DC - Today, the Supreme Court officially blocked President Biden's vaccine mandate for large employers, upholding a mandate for government-funded healthcare facilities. Since the Administration's proposal, Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach (MN-07) has advocated for the American people in opposing such mandates. In response to the Supreme Court's decision, the Congresswoman released the following statement:
"Today, the Supreme Court blocked Biden's COVID-19 vaccine and testing mandates for large employers, saying the Administration 'lacked authority to impose the mandate'. This is a huge win for the American people and we should all be celebrating the victory. While it is unfortunate healthcare facilities accepting Medicare and Medicaid were not included in this decision, I will continue to advocate for our healthcare workers and against all unconstitutional mandates from this Administration."
