(Washington, DC) -- All of Minnesota's congressional delegation voted to keep the federal government open. The continuing resolution approved hours before Saturday's deadline will keep the government running through November 17th but does not include additional funding for Ukraine or border security. Seventh District Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach says it would be irresponsible to shut down the government, which would affect every corner of the country. Fifth District Representative Ilhan Omar warned that a shutdown would be tragic for Minnesotans and hundreds of thousands of workers would not get paid.
