Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach used a House hearing to grill Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas about the department’s border policies. The Minnesota Republican told him she received hundreds of questions from constituents who don’t think the Biden Administration is doing anything to stop the flow over the southern border:
“Fischbach: I would love to know how many immigrants have been relocated to Minnesota? Mayorkas : I will provide data to the best of my ability. Fischbach: Since you don’t have it here, I am formally requesting now that you send it to my office.”
Secretary Mayorkas says a new immigration plan at the U-S southern border is showing positive results. Fischbach said releasing illegal aliens into U-S doesn’t fit the definition of securing the border.
