Willmar, MN -- Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach (MN-07) recently met with Barnesville Mayor Jason Rick and city staff to discuss the town's infrastructure needs. The group discussed their plans for how they will address those needs over the next few years. The congresswoman appreciated them taking the time to meet with her and for showing her tangible examples of what needs to be addressed, such as the water pipes that need to be replaced. The group also discussed the importance of maintaining critical care resources for rural areas by having access to ambulance services. Congresswoman Fischbach recently helped secure $750,000 in federal funding to help the city of Barnesville as they undergo comprehensive reconstruction of critical infrastructure. This investment will replace failing systems, improve water quality in Whiskey Creek, and support the continued growth of one of Clay County’s most vibrant communities. Congresswoman Fischbach is committed to working for the communities within the Seventh Congressional District to help these towns thrive!
