Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach recently met with members from the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce for a discussion on the Working Families Tax Cuts Act and the tax relief it will bring to businesses and individuals. Congresswoman Fischbach desires to foster strong business environments throughout the Seventh Congressional District. The Working Families Tax Cuts Act will provide many benefits to local businesses, including permanently securing the 199A Small Business Deduction, which prevents 55,000 of Minnesota's local businesses from facing crippling tax rates. The New Markets Tax Credit has already delivered over $620 million in investments to the Seventh Congressional District. Beyond tax relief, the group also discussed the Congresswoman’s legislative efforts on the Investing in Rural America Act
Congresswoman Fischbach will continue to cut bureaucratic red tape and work to empower our main streets. As she looks to future legislation in Washington D.C., she will continue to ensure that our rural communities remain competitive and are a place where the next generation can find good-paying jobs.
