Washington, D.C. - Today, the House of Representatives passed the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.
"Babies born after a failed abortion attempt are living human beings with blood in their veins and a beat in their hearts, and they deserve the same standard of care that any baby at the same age would receive," said Congresswoman Fischbach (MN-07). "I am appalled that this needs to be dictated into law, but the fact is that Democrat lawmakers all over the country are pushing legislation that allows abortion providers to cast these babies aside rather than treat them as a patient. Today, I proudly stood in support of the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act to protect babies who survive attempted abortions."
