Washington, D.C. - On June 26, Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach (MN-07) introduced legislation to rename the Roseau, Minnesota Post Office in memory of Floyd B. Olson, who faithfully served his community in the Roseau Post Office for nearly thirty years.

"Mr. Olson was a proud family man, a man of faith, and a staple in the Roseau community," said Congresswoman Fischbach. "A true public servant, he was a charter member of the Rose Church Men's Club, looked forward to his Thursday morning coffee crew, was proud of his family, served on the Roseau County Fair Board and the County Historical Board for several years, and worked at the Roseau Post Office for nearly thirty years. I can think of no better person to dedicate this post office to, and I am proud to introduce this legislation."
