Grand Forks, ND - Today, Congresswoman Fischbach (MN-07) joined the House Judiciary Committee in a hearing on "The Biden Border Crisis: North Dakota Perspectives."

"Minnesota's Seventh District is facing the same issues they are facing here in North Dakota thanks to this Administration's failed border policies, from human trafficking to gun smuggling to the rise in fentanyl overdoses. President Biden has the opportunity to change this, and he can do it right now," said Rep. Fischbach. "We need to return to the Trump Administration's policies to properly manage both the northern and the southern border. That includes empowering the Customs and Border Patrol agents to do their job effectively so we can keep the crossings open for economic and personal use while putting a stop to illegal activity. Thank you to our host, Congressman Armstrong, for bringing Members of Congress out to North Dakota to see what's really happening and hearing from the people that are dealing with these issues every day."

Background: Congresswoman Fischbach joined Congressmen Armstrong (ND), McClintock (CA-05), Tiffany (WI-07), Kelly (PA-16), and Fitzgerald (WI-05). You can watch the full hearing here, which was followed by a press conference, which you can watch here.
