...Fischbach said negotiations on funding border security continues...
...A bi-partisan compromise bill was passed in The U.S. Senate, but some feel it won't pass the Republican-controlled House because Donald Trump wants border security to be a major part of his upcoming presidential campaign. President Bid last week issued a statement saying The Senate Bill would give him "a new emergency authority to shut down the border when it becomes overwhelmed. And if given that authority, I would use it the day I sign the bill into law." Bid said the funding he requested last fall "includes an additional 1,300 border patrol agents, 375 immigration judges, 1,600 asylum officers, and over 100 cutting-edge inspection machines to help detect and stop fentanyl at our southwest border."
