On Wednesday, the House of Representatives voted to formally open an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.
Following the vote, Rep. Michelle Fischbach (MN-07) issued a statement saying that "several committees, including the Ways and Means Committee, have gathered hundreds of pages of testimony causing grave concern about the President's conduct." She says that with the "vote, we have reasserted Congress' authority to gather all the necessary evidence to complete its investigation and get the American people the answers they deserve."
President Joe Biden says that "instead of doing their jobs on the urgent work that needs to be done, they are choosing to waste time on this baseless political stunt that even Republicans in Congress admit is not supported by facts."
