Washington, D.C. – Friday, Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach (MN-07) led the entire Minnesota House delegation in introducing two bipartisan bills to rename post offices in the 7th Congressional District.
“I’m proud to have the support of the Minnesota delegation in renaming two post offices after local heroes,” said Rep. Fischbach. “These bills would rename the Vergas Post Office after Jon Glawe, a veteran who dedicated 36 years to delivering mail in Vergas, taking over the route of his late father, and the Oklee Post Office for Coya Knutson in honor of the first female elected to Congress from Minnesota.”
