Officials highlighted staffing limitations and rising administrative costs tied to SNAP requirements. The conversation focused on the need for clearer federal guidance and delayed program implementation timelines to reduce strain on rural counties. Rep. Fischbach also toured the county’s new law enforcement center, which brings together the Sheriff’s Office, County Jail, Dispatch Center, Community Corrections, Family Services, and Emergency Management.
